Crayola ColorCycle (World Record)

This year Jeffco is participating in a program called the Crayola ColorCycle  A recycling program that repurposes old markers into energy, and wax compounds used in asphalt and roof shingles. The process uses every part of the marker, unlike traditional recycling where only certain parts and plastics of the marker can be recycled. Jeffco Student Madhvi Chittoor is attempting to set a world record of recycled markers. All Chatfield students can drop off any used markers of any brand in Mrs. Bazz’s room (A118) in her dropbox, or at the box in the front office. The deadline is scheduled for December 3rd however, Crayola ColorCycle has been put on hold for the time being due to continuing COVID restrictions, hopefully, it will come back soon so we can support this great cause.
