Most people that voted said high school sports do indeed help with building spirit at schools. There were 186 votes cast, and 85 percent of people voted that sports help with school spirit. This is affecting our students and community right now. The lack of sporting activities is keeping us from cheering on our peers. Chatfield’s SOFTBALL team and CROSS COUNTRY team were extremely successful this year yet fans were not encouraged (and in many cases were not allowed) to support their friends and classmates. Our hope is that this will change at some point this year.

Over 120 students have already requested tickets for the first home Varsity Football game. Students can request a ticket through their Class Google Classrooms. Lists telling who receives the tickets will be posted on ChattyMatters.com under “Tickets.”
