It’s finally the best time of the year! For those who celebrate Christmas, do you know why or how putting colorful lights up started? Ancient cultures like the Romans started this tradition with candles to represent warmth which symbolized hope and represented Jesus as the,“Light of the world.” Thomas Edison first displayed electric lights outside his lab in 1880. Soon after, people followed and it now has become a world wide tradition!
