Fall Fest Wrap Up!!!

Fall is always a bitter sweet for school kids, with the changing of the leaves, the start of school and homecoming all wrapped into one. Fall Fest originally called the Chatty Bonfire happened on September 9th, 2019. Food trucks of all kinds, games and music were featured at the festival. Starting at 5:30 the festival started with a bang, people from all over came, from Chatty to neighboring elementary and middle schools. The iconic Kona Ice was featured in the festival along with Alliance which ran it. Chatfield Senior High School had some of the clubs and sports have fun events on the side. Some of the athletics involved the girl basketball and the football team, the gymnastics team. The clubs included the robotics club, National Arts Honor Society.

As the time winded down on the festival the iconic mosh pit occurred. The idea of the mosh pit is while the verse of a song is played on the speakers the students back up and make an empty circle. As the chorus hits they all run in and jump and dance. Seniors are mostly in the middle, then juniors, sophomores and lastly freshmen gather in around them. Of course as a classic favorite the song Country Road was played as our final song to end the festival. The students are definitely now pumped up for homecoming after this amazing, well organized festival.
