Beginning of Something New
This is one of, if not the biggest step, for all of our high school graduates this year. This is the step where, once they get their diplomas, throw their hats, and turn their cords, they are off on their own journey in life to start something for themselves, while having the experiences they want and meeting new people along the way. This is not only big for the 99.1 percent of graduates from Chatfield (crazy ik), but it is also big for the families of these graduates because they now get to see the 18 years they put into their child pay off, and it will allow them to thrive in this world. This is also a very special day for Mrs. Hitchens because it is her BIRTHDAYY. We really hope that Mrs.Hitchens not only enjoys graduation but also enjoys her birthday with her family and whatever she chooses to do. We really hope that these 2026 graduation Chargers not only have a good graduation, but also enjoy the rest of their lives, no matter what they do or where they are.
Graduation is one of, if not the best and biggest, events of the year. This is big not only for teachers who have had the seniors in their class, but it is also big for the families of the kids because it allows them to move on, and it allows them to be able to have a great rest of their lives, no matter where they go. This is a very pivotal part in a lot of young adults lives because it shows them that they are now past another event in there life and now they have the power and support to do what they choose no matter it be taking a gap year to do things like outdoor lab, or going straight into college to pursure there dreams and career, kids now have the choice to do what they choose because they are now adults doing there own things.

During graduation, there were a lot of good speeches and people that spoke for Yansaks speech about phones and how they are bad for you and you should live your life (ending in a thrown phone), to Grace Kelly speech about the apollo 11 mission and what it did and how it effects them as graduetes to finally thanos’s speech about how our strength lies in unity and how no matter where the graduets go they will still be apart of this Chatfield community. There were so many students, including all of 420 seniors, which is a lto but also the student body president, Grace Kelly, and the 5 valedictorians, which include people like Lane Miller and Noah Miller.
These seniors this year have done a lot for this school from the start of the year with link groups, all the way to the end of the year with things like Relay for Life and even the final spring sports. These seniors have done wonders in their 4 years of school here, and we all know they will become great people and do great things.
